Error: “Cannot open database <Database name> requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user <User name>”

This issue is caused by the Data Processing Account not having the necessary permissions to the Netwrix SQL Database in question.

To solve the issue, verify that the db_owner role for the product database is assigned to the Data Processing Account:
– Navigate to Start / All Programs / Microsoft SQL Server / SQL Server Management Studio
– In the left pane, navigate to Security / Logins /Data Processing Account. Right-click it and select Properties. If it does not exist, please create the new login for the Data Processing Account.
– In the Login Properties dialogue, in the left pane navigate to the User Mapping page.
– Make sure that the db_owner role is selected for the product database.
– Click OK to save the changes.
